THE CASTLE part four

stairs-336509_960_720“Anna, I understand more than you know.  I was murdered in return for my ideas.  But I’m alive again here with a crown on my head.  You have one too.” Lucius smiled in a twisty way that inferred he wasn’t the least bit unsettled by her frustration, or her past.

Anna reached up and found the gold circle nestled there atop her head.  Her eyebrows shot upward in surprise as she took it down to study it.  The gold was polished to a bright sheen and a small citrine gem gleamed from it’s embedded spot in the front.

Her fingers delicately brushed over the surface and lingered on the jewel.  Suddenly tears welled up in her eyes and one hand went to  cover her face as she appeared to melt under her emotions. Continue reading THE CASTLE part four

COMPUTER ANGELS?

frozen treesJust now I was dealing with  deeply, frustrating paperwork I had emailed two weeks ago, but has not been received.  When I attempted to call, the recording rudely reminded me that it is Saturday. Therefore I sent my documents to two other email addresses, hoping they will arrive before I call on Monday.

This tragically familiar scenario is the reason there are people out there who don’t even have a computer in their home.

I cannot fathom that response so I continue to battle the war of computers, paperwork and red tape.

My understanding of microchips and binary codes disconnects at the keyboard and I still imagine an invisible conduit in the air where my information streams seamlessly. Continue reading COMPUTER ANGELS?

THE CASTLE, part three

chandelier-448719_960_720Mesmerized by the lavishness of her gown and ring, Anna turned to Lucius for answers.  However, he wasn’t talking.  He was simply leaning against the gate looking into her eyes with such tenderness that she wondered if he could see into her soul.

She couldn’t look away.  Why did his eyes seem to dance and sparkle in the sun?  How was it that rainbows of color played in their irises?

Embarrassed that she was staring at him, and confused that she couldn’t ask him a simple question without losing her train of thought, Anna turned to the boys with the dog.  They were a welcome distraction that warmed her heart.

As they sat cross-legged on the grassy lawn, the boys tossed a yellow ball into the air.  Over and over the ball went up and the dog would jump and snatch it in mid-air.  He was quite good at his trick which made Lucius laugh and Anna smile in amazement. Continue reading THE CASTLE, part three

WHO DO THEY SAY THAT I AM?

who

Jesus asked Peter “Who do they say that I am?”  And now Father was asking me, “Describe yourself to me.  Who are you?”  It was almost the same question.

Instantly, I remembered the visions of my gown, my crown, my accessories, and gifts.   But I still think of myself as an individual. And apparently, I see that individual loved and accessorized by Father God.  But not deserving of the same answer Peter had given Jesus.  “You are the Christ.”

The word Christ generally means anointed one, or chosen one. And of course, we often think of it as meaning ‘Messiah’. So, of course, I couldn’t envision myself as the Messiah. But I also don’t see myself as Anointed or Chosen.

Even though Jesus lives within me, I still struggle with Identity. My gown and my crown and accessories are unique and surprising. I’m still wrapping my mind around that appearance.

And now He wants to know how I see myself fully?   Continue reading WHO DO THEY SAY THAT I AM?

THE CASTLE, part two

vineyard-986938_960_720Anna pushed again and again but the gate didn’t budge.  With hands on her hips, she stepped back and surveyed the massive iron monstrosity.

Inviting sounds and smells were still wafting plentifully through the barrier.  So she stepped forward and began digging through the thick vines in an effort to see inside.  But when she moved one vine, another blocked her view.  The heavy tangle won it’s victory when it drew blood.

Standing back once more in frustration, she covered her wound and stared at the stubborn contraption.  It wasn’t fair after taking such risk, that she would be kept from the final goal simply by not being able to open the gate. Continue reading THE CASTLE, part two

SPOOKY SHADOWS IN THE HOUSE

ghosts-572038_960_720I was reminded today about the time I began inviting the Heavenly Host and the cloud of witnesses into my home.  It wasn’t something my husband and I discussed.  It was just something I did on a whim one day as I was visiting with Father, and contemplating the spirit realm.

Dark shapes and spooky movements have been evident now and then all my life.  They gave me creepy feelings and I hated to get out of bed at night.  I’ve done the rebuking thing and the commanding thing.  It works, but eventually there is movement again. Continue reading SPOOKY SHADOWS IN THE HOUSE

THE CASTLE, a story, part one

mountain cliffAnna’s feet ached with each step on the rough mountain path.  She had seen the top of the castle, white and beckoning, just before this curve. Finding a flat-topped boulder, she sat down, kicked off a shabby shoe, and rubbed her foot.

Oh why had she come here?  The castle hadn’t called to others.   No one else in the village had been plagued with compelling wonder.  They were content to sit in their small pomen’s and work their gardens year after year, and survive until old, and worn, and dead.

But from Cabon’s Point, just outside the village, the castle gleamed like a tiny gem in the distance, tempting her.  Old Jable, the cobbler, had said it was a bad omen, her being so curious, when the tales warned of such behavior.  No one who’d set out for the castle had ever come back to tell the story.  So when Oma Olga, the baker, drew back at Anna’s inquisitiveness, it was years before she allowed herself to even glance at her temptation again.  After all, Oma Olga knew everything about anything, including the secrets of Adjin and the Universe.  She knew why He created and where He went afterward.  If she was afraid, then everyone was afraid. INTIMATE SECRETS

relax-1137240_960_720In a place of silence and peace, I can hear Father speaking to me and the conversation becomes very intimate.  That’s because He knows every thought I have, often better than I know myself.

Sometimes we humans have unacknowledged thoughts and reactions hidden in foggy imprints from the past.  These are impressions we never told anyone and barely noticed ourselves. Continue reading INTIMATE SECRETS

LIVING HERE, FROM THERE

I’m learning how to live in this world FROM the heavenly realm.

I’ll try to explain this simply. It’s like when you are in a creative zone and the world around you doesn’t register in your mind. You get a ton of things done and the space feels TREMENDOUSLY blessed.

But when you come “out” and have to deal with the world and all it’s little details, something feels out-of-whack and things seem to go wrong. You might even blame it on not having your head in focus. Continue reading LIVING HERE, FROM THERE
