COMPUTER ANGELS?

frozen treesJust now I was dealing with  deeply, frustrating paperwork I had emailed two weeks ago, but has not been received.  When I attempted to call, the recording rudely reminded me that it is Saturday. Therefore I sent my documents to two other email addresses, hoping they will arrive before I call on Monday.

This tragically familiar scenario is the reason there are people out there who don’t even have a computer in their home.

I cannot fathom that response so I continue to battle the war of computers, paperwork and red tape.

My understanding of microchips and binary codes disconnects at the keyboard and I still imagine an invisible conduit in the air where my information streams seamlessly.

When my efforts take a wrong turn and my hard work disappears in cyber-space, I envision a frozen wasteland of large monsters who eat every mistakenly sent scrap.

I first met this menacing Zone in the mid-1980’s, and I’ve learned one important key that saves my sanity from shredding: I MUST elicit God Almighty on the one hand, and speak to the technical components of this magical process, on the other hand.

Hardware MUST BE TOLD what you expect of it and Father God must be present in the conversation to display who is really boss.

Now, mind you, I have battled this Zone on my own and can only report severely embarrassing defeat leaving me blathering and drooling idiotically.  The horrendous beatings engulfed me in cognitive dissonance for quite some time.

When I elicit God Almighty to be present, and begin talking to the blinking screen, wonderful things happen.  My documents go where they should, when they should and to whom they should go.  My mind is not shredded and I am able to continue on my path of blissfully, productive creativity.

I don’t know If Father God has assigned Angels to these intricate processes, but if so, they deserve huge awards and massive hugs.

(I will email myself a reminder to do that as soon as I complete this encounter).

Happy Saturday!!

  1. I have encountered both, the frustration and the bliss. And you are exactly right; the bliss comes when I elicit the help of Father God. Every single time.
