A STORY OF PERCEPTION AND DOUBT

At a random moment in May, my mind twirled itself into a knot about God.  My expanding understanding of Father’s presence within me had somehow “humanized” Him.  After all, if He is actually part of me and not living separate from me, then how does He remain divine?  How is He still omnipotent?  And what does that mean regarding the miracles I’ve experienced most of my life?  It seemed that the more I saw Him within me, the less miraculous He appeared.  Was He ordinary now?

Of course, that conclusion means my mind doesn’t have a miraculous perception of myself.  I’m still flawed with feet of clay, unable to fly.

Plus, I didn’t have time to contemplate this twist and talk it out with Him.  We had a family and friend event coming up at our home in mid-June and there were a multitude of projects to complete beforehand. THE IMPENDING STORM OF HALLOWEEN

That was the label I heard from Father when I asked about his feelings on the subject of Halloween.  He said it with a wry grin and then my morning of learning began.

Within this period of learning how to administer the Earth as a Son (Daughter) of God,  I was struck this morning with the advent of Halloween and what my position should be.  I didn’t know.  Eek!

Father insinuated that it was an impending storm, but he did it with that knowing grin and asked me how I had learned to deal with storms.

SET MY BROTHER FREE part II

We just finished a week-long family event at our home. Almost 30 people from several states came and enjoyed being together. It was wonderful.

And it was a trial, although not for all the obvious reasons, save for one: religion. My family was raised Pentecostal/Charismatic and we all shared similar doctrines for most our lives. Then about 2-3 years ago, I began learning new things and my doctrines began changing.

I stepped out of the lines and did things like, umm, reading outside the usual doctrinal stuff. I read “Pagan Christianity,” by Frank Viola and George Barna. This book was one of the first to rock my status quo, and then it was “Raptureless,” by Jonathan Welton. Of course, there were many other authors in the mix like Maria Maddalena de Pazzi; hers was some rather obscure but enlightening material. Continue reading SET MY BROTHER FREE part II →

GOD MADE US TO BE BLESSINGS

God made me to be a Blessing; not to stop someone else’s blessing, or to dish out justice – that’s His job. He made me to be a conduit here on the earth for Him to pass out Blessing to everyone He brings into my path.

Even with enemies (because not everyone will respect or even acknowledge Blessing) He said to turn the other cheek because only Blessing flows thru me, nothing else.

Blessing is like a river flowing in only one direction. It can’t flow in opposite directions or turn around depending on the reception it receives. If there is a blockage, the river keeps flowing until the blockage is flooded and sinks to the bottom; then the river continues, flowing forward, forward, forward. I’m taking inventory of the items I have acquired in my Heavenly travels. Mind you, none of these things were a goal for me. I did not set out to get them; primarily because I didn’t know they were available to me. But I’m mentioning them so you will know many things are available to you there. Scripture talks about rewards and weapons, but the connection hadn’t hit me until I saw these.

MY AWESOME BROADSWORD

My awesome broadsword was given to me in the middle of a spiritual battle. It’s a marvelous revelation I want to share with you.

In a dream, I cowered on the floor in a dark corner of an old house. At the front door, a pack of demon beasts clawed and snarled.  So, I ran around inside the house and secured the windows and doors, then I retreated to the room farthest away.

Chris Hemsworth showed up suddenly (I think he represented an angel) and began flinging the doors open.  His actions caused me to panic and I screamed, “What are you doing?” But he yelled back, “Use your sword!” and then he tossed me a broadsword. Continue reading MY AWESOME BROADSWORD →
