Just now I was dealing with deeply, frustrating paperwork I had emailed two weeks ago, but has not been received. When I attempted to call, the recording rudely reminded me that it is Saturday. Therefore I sent my documents to two other email addresses, hoping they will arrive before I call on Monday.
This tragically familiar scenario is the reason there are people out there who don’t even have a computer in their home.
I cannot fathom that response so I continue to battle the war of computers, paperwork and red tape.
My understanding of microchips and binary codes disconnects at the keyboard and I still imagine an invisible conduit in the air where my information streams seamlessly. Continue reading COMPUTER ANGELS?→
Some time ago, I told Father in a chit-chatty and slightly silly conversation: “I want to live in paradise on Earth”.
Immediately He said, “OK, make it. Right here where you are.”
So, I considered what this might mean. Plus, if He wanted me to do this, then I must simply agree with Him.
It started by daydreaming of what paradise means to me and then making small changes to my little world, like solar lights on my deck. I hung several strings of bulbs up high and placed yard lights down low. I also got a small gas fire pit and replaced the lava rock with colored decorative glass rocks. Church pews left behind, exciting conversations began to spew from my many progressive friends. We took our faith and ran with it. Over hill and dale as we hit the dusty trail, in our mostly peaceful exploits of freedom with Holy Spirit as our only guide.
