In the last few days I’ve noticed posts despondent about the darkness, and prayers begging Light to rise up and win. The feeling is that these writers have taken a huge uppercut to the jaw of their faith. In asking Father to bring judgment to this issue, their battlefield then moved into the courtroom. While praying for Light to overcome the darkness, new avenues of freedom opened up for their opponent. None of this looked like victory and appeared to be a terrible defeat. Their hearts were broken and their faith was wounded but they continued down the same path. They see their prayers bounce off the ceiling bringing opposite results but still they hold on and pray even louder and longer.

Even though the answer to their prayers are happening right before their eyes, they don’t see it. As they proclaim the death of darkness and the advance of the Kingdom – it comes, but they would only perceive it if they took the glass they are looking through and flip it 180 degrees.

I was wondering how Father deals with the depression and sad declarations coming from some of His children in response to current events.

Of course He heard my thoughts and said, “There are times they declare agreement with Me and don’t know it. For example The Lord’s Prayer. ‘Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on Earth as it is

Of course they are eager for My Kingdom to come and My Will to be done on Earth because in their scenario of My Kingdom, the problem people and issues will be gone and Earth will be governed by My strict rules. Controlling chaos and establishing Peace on Earth looks like this to them. So they’ve been praying The Lords Prayer in almost every church service or big event for a hundred years and I’m very pleased that they do. Although they are not very pleased with the outcome.”

He was pleased with the conclusion and I began to follow His perspective.

Apparently, Father has always taken the best parts of our prayers to perform the righteousness of what we are declaring but the unyielding parts of our prayers fall to the ground ineffective. He will always cause Light to overtake the dark and advance the Kingdom. When our perception is skewed to see dark as light then we find the answers come in opposition to our prayers. Thinking , of course, that this can’t be true, we wonder if God has a different plan, or we fall back on theology that darkness overtakes the Earth. But, that will never happen except in the dark constructs of our minds.

Suddenly, I realized how this resembled the children of Israel walking around the same mountain for 40 years, not seeing the promised land because their stiff necks and hard hearts skewed their perception. A generation had to pass away because they couldn’t receive the promise. It wasn’t Father’s fault that they couldn’t go in. It was their choice.
In spite of them, the Kingdom advanced and their children saw the promised land.

Notice this: their prayers to false gods changed little. Those prayers fell to the ground like dust except to hold them back from accessing the promise that was right in front of them. They were praying from their perspective.

Perspective is in the eyes. The Lamp of the Body – Matthew 6:22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

This perfectly explains the children of Israel and the wounded of faith today. Those who can see the promise, are walking into their promised land. Those who see only darkness are being pummeled by it’s cruel hand. We need not rail at them and scream at their darkness. It is truly hell on Earth. Anyone with an eye toward darkness from either side of any issue, is living inside that same hell. Just like the children of Israel, they are walking a path they choose which has an end that seems right, but leads to death.

Hell doesn’t care about our cause or issue. It just wants us to be consumed by the vision of darkness, to embrace it, believe it, and talk about it as much as possible. It hopes to spread through that same power of words that Father uses. But it doesn’t work as well because darkness is doomed already, and is dying. It has been slowly dying for 2 thousand years and is about to reach the end.

I suddenly felt great compassion for those perception-challenged children and my heart grew heavy for their predicament. Then Father reassured me that His Love for them is no less. They may plow a trail of darkness that leads to death, but even afterward He will prevail and their eyes will suddenly be opened. They will see the Light of God and rejoice with the great cloud of witnesses. They will cheer us on because they will see clearly.

Darkness is crumbling and we are learning to crush it more each day. We have learned about the power of the tongue used in agreement with His Will and Purposes. We are learning to raise the dead, heal the sick and cast out demons. We are learning the greatest power of all is “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is 
no law.” Father’s Plan is exquisite in it’s accuracy and singly focused in its goal.

I wondered what happened to me through the years. My eyes had perceived darkness for a long time. It had seemed like the right way. When did my eyes change, I wondered? Then, of course, Father heard my thoughts and said, “Remember that year when you and your Hunny prayed The Lords Prayer every morning before work?”

I do remember. Again, I saw that smile shining through the Heavens.
