INTRODUCING CHAOS

So what happens when you’re finally living in pure Peace and someone comes along introducing chaos?  Shock, surprise, annoyance, pushing back, and maybe a glass of wine?

They might not be the best responses for us to take, but who’s judging?  Especially since I did them all.

I like to think I’m an awesome, loving Christian and that people are healed from their chaos when pulled under my blanket of peace.  I’ve seen it happen, but it wasn’t always a quick process and it didn’t always happen overnight.

THE TRUE COMFORT OF BEING

Recently a friend posted a note saying he’d come to a place of complete comfort in his Being.  My heart leaped with joy as he described what I have also been experiencing.  And the longer the post remained, the more people joined the conversation with stories of similar experiences.

Arguments and debates around scripture are long past, relegated to a different stage of experiencing God.  And it’s simply not a place we can return to and participate from anymore.

SOME OF MY JOURNEY FROM EGO TO TRUE BEING

the real me

A few years ago, Father took me on a journey to see my real Being, not my ego-based one.  It started with what I call a “flash” vision.  Like a flash, it was there one second and gone the next.  Since, I was in the middle of doing some household chores, I didn’t pay any attention.

Father said, “I just showed you something.”  And immediately I knew He had.  But what was it?  I’d missed it.  And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t remember it. Continue reading SOME OF MY JOURNEY FROM EGO TO TRUE BEING

THE FRUSTRATIONS OF OUR DIFFERENCES

child

Did you have the frustrations of being a child with an older sibling?

The first time my older brother went on a date, I was about 5 years old.  And I wanted to go too.  After all, he was going to a movie with a friend and he was staying up past bedtime.  There was no fair reason that I couldn’t go with him.

And I remember the little grin on his face as I got madder and madder.

I wasn’t wrong about bedtime.  It was a rule.  So, why was it OK with Mom and Dad that my brother break the rules?  And if it was OK for him to break the rules then it should be OK for me to break them too! Continue reading THE FRUSTRATIONS OF OUR DIFFERENCES

LOOKING AND DISCOVERING OTHER GODS

idols

It was an odd day when I began seeing the other gods.  They’d been there all my life but I hadn’t looked this closely.  Very few people in my circles had looked either.  So, it felt weird to finally see what they were.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2

We thought it was simple to see other gods and know what they are, but it isn’t.   Some of them stand there on their pedestals right in front of us for everyone to see.  Yet even while we are polishing them, we don’t recognize what they are. Continue reading LOOKING AND DISCOVERING OTHER GODS

LIVING THE APOCALYPSE OF CHRISTIANITY

apocalypse

The Apocalypse was something we grew up talking about and secretly worrying about.  Where would it happen?  Over there?  Or right here?  And maybe it was really about the economic crisis, or a political one.  It might even be a religion or denomination.

Whoa boy, talk about the shock as it happened inside my heart.  Bombs and destruction.  How would I survive this?

“Babylon the great has fallen!” in Revelation 18:2 was about spiritual idols.  And I’d held a bunch of them close all my life without being aware of them. The whole time I was looking around for the Apocalypse, it was just waiting to begin when my holy cows began tipping over. FINALLY, AN ARTICLE!

an article

Finally, an article!

I’m almost embarrassed that it’s been so long since I’ve written anything on the blog. However, in my defense (if it really is one) I blame the entanglement of Facebook’s siren’s song.  I actually thought I was interacting with a group of people.

To some extent it’s true, but with ever-changing algorithms, no one knows who actually sees their posts anymore.  Often it isn’t people we solicit.

And that leads me to why I’m back on the blog (where I belong). Continue reading FINALLY, AN ARTICLE!

MY KINGDOM – book now available

Welcome to MY KINGDOM, the 2nd book in the series “Learning to Live From The Kingdom”!

Available on Amazon and Kindle. (click here for Kindle)

FOREWORD BY MATTHEW ROBERT PAYNE

In this new era, we talk a lot about the Kingdom arriving or having already arrived and how we can live FROM it.  For me, that existence began with MY SEAT, which is the 1st book in this series.

Then Jesus introduced me to my realm of influence which He called My Kingdom.

That doesn’t mean I have built myself a kingdom because I want to be like God. It is simply the people and situations closely associated with me on Earth.  I didn’t know it before, but they comprise The Kingdom of God that lives within me.  And it’s because I hold them in my heart and they have the most personal significance for me. THE BIG WOOHOO PLACE

warmth

There’s a place inside me that feels like a big WOOHOO!  The general vicinity is near my heart, or maybe my belly, sort-of behind my lungs?  Hmm, it’s hard to pinpoint it, but it has this warm glow that sits there and hums.  Lol.  Sometimes it flares up a little and that’s when I wanna go dance in the street, or climb up on the roof, or something equally as crazy that I probably won’t do.

Anyway, this place, this thing, this warm spot has some kind of complete perfection about it.  Inside it, if I claim it and BE part of it, is full.  Absolutely full.  There isn’t one tiny piece of this thing that wants for anything.  It has everything.  As a matter-of-fact, its so complete that it’s “abundant” sort-of like an orchard in full fruit, or my Christmas cactus when it’s in full bloom.  In some ways, I can stand back and look at it and think “Wow, that’s almost too much!”  But I’d never say that!  Lol. WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THE AMAZING THING IS ISOLATION

mountain

The most amazing thing has happened to me in the years since I began hearing God’s voice. It’s been a long, slow process that I didn’t even realize was happening … until it did.

I’ve discovered that I don’t need to hear from anyone else.

I know that sounds mean, or sarcastic, or rebellious, or arrogant. But it is none of those things at all. Rather it is absolutely saturated with Peace. It is even a more all-encompassing Peace than I knew before. And, I thought I had the best Peace before. But this is more. I don’t know how to describe it any other way.
